Divorce can be a slow, expensive and painful process. It is hard
on the Husband and Wife and even harder on the children. Settlements
reached by the adversarial process often leave behind bitter feelings
and post-divorce conflicts re-arouse all of the old hostilities.
After twenty-five years working in divorce law, I came to the conclusion
that there had to be a softer, easier way to approach the divorce
process. I found that easier, softer approach to be divorce mediation,
in which the Husband and Wife agree that their marriage is over(for
whatever reason), and wish to separate in a dignified, humane manner.
I am pleased to announce that I am offering Marital Mediation.
Marital Mediation is a process that works towards separation for
a period of time while the parties work on their issues with a view
towards going back together, rather than divorcing.
