Patricia
A. Shea, M.A., Certified Mediator, has more than 25 years dealing
with contested Domestic Relations (Divorce) cases. Mrs. Shea combines
more than 13 years' experience as a sole practitioner of divorce
mediation with several years' experience working as a mental health
counselor.
In
addition, she works with individual therapy clients on a sliding
fee, self-pay basis, concentrating mainly on those clients going
through a contested divorce helping them deal with the trauma involved.
She
has a Masters in Counseling Psychology and has attended New England
School of Law, Aquinas College of Newton, Framingham State College,
and Newbury College. She received her formal mediation training
from Divorce Mediation Training Associates at Bentley College and
continues taking advanced training courses.
Formerly
a teacher at Newbury College, she is a Board Member of the Massachusetts
Council on Family Mediation, an Advanced Practitioner Member of
the Association for Conflict Resolution(ACR), a member of the Massachusetts
Mental Health Counselors Association and a therapist at several
mental health agencies.
